Artist to bring “Nature’s Whispers” to the Gallery at Laurel Lake

Akron, OH: Akron artist/photographer Cari Miller will host the opening reception of her newest show “Nature’s Whispers” at the Gallery at Laurel Lake, 200 Laurel Lake Drive, Hudson, on Friday, August 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Miller will be showing a mix of 20+ original acrylic paintings, mirrors, photographs and prints that show the softer side of nature. The reception will feature jazz guitarist/singer/songwriter Dave Hammer performing from 6 to 7 as well as light refreshments. Notecards and greeting cards will also be for sale.

“With the end of summer approaching, I wanted to show a collection of work that makes the viewer reflect on the beauty that can be found right outside our door before it’s gone,” says Miller.

The exhibit runs through August 30.

A graduate of the University of Akron, Miller has worked in Northeast Ohio for the past 20+ years as an award-winning photographer, artist, graphic artist, writer and editor.
